2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport rendered

2017 Hyundai Elantra Sport rendered

Last month we were testing Hyundai’s All-New Elantra, codenamed as AD, in San Diego and our first impressiones were the Elantra turned into a very sleek aerodynamic design and class-leading safety technologies. Hyundai also promised us a new sport model that soon will be shown and today we can share this render directly from South Korea.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]During the past week, we shared a several pictures of the Hyundai Elantra Sport who were spotted in South Korea with a high level of camouflage on the car, but we can still distinguish the Elantra inside with the big hexagonal Hyundai’s signature grill. Something new we notice is the piano black finish on the bottom lip of the bumper and the new headlight design, which gives a mean look for the new Elantra, as wel as the DRL LED which is now on the top instead of on the sides, closer to what we can see on the render.

On the side we see a new wheel for this Elantra, this is an 18′ wheel with multi spoke wheels design with a black chromium finish coat. I really like this design but it’ll be hard to clean it off everytime. On the back the taillights havent received a new change on design but the exhaust is now visible on this sport model with dual exhaust tips and the piano black finish but just a single exit.

[ads id=”7″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]On the inside we see a major change but not exactly on design but actually new color accents are iluminating the interior. In this particular sport model, its getting red accents everywhere, with Sport stiches on the front seats with red leather and also seat belts. we might be seeing too much on the inside but that just subject to every person taste.

We know the Elantra Sport will come with the 1.6 T-GDI engine, just like the Veloster, and it will include the seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission but something new on this Elantra is that we will finally see a independent suspension system on the back and that is something a lot of people were requesting. what we are wondering now, will this transfer to hyundai new line-up or even just Hyundai’s new sport models?

The Elantra Sport is scheduled to launch next month in South Korea, where we finally get to see what’s new on the sport model. Stay tuned for more!
