Hyundai to Build a Driving Center in South Korea

Hyundai is expected to build a driving center in Korea next year. By building a driving center, Hyundai Motor Group plans to bring new value to consumers and also strong its high-performance images.

In March of this year ex-BMW Motorsport vice president Thomas Schemera, moved to Hyundai’s N high-performance division and have announced company’s new future plans at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. It plans to build a Korean driving center and introduce a new high-performance model.

“Building a driving center for South Korean Hyundai customers gives them the opportunity to experience high-performance cars and reflects their voices in vehicle development and planning.” Said Schemera.

Schemera, alongside with Hyundai’s high-performance cars chief Albert Biermann, has made BMW M a top-of-the-line high-performance brand. He also played a big role in building the BMW Driving Center that BMW already have in South Korea.

“The first driving center of Hyundai will be built in Korea, and the name, area, etc. are already being developed specifically,” Schemera said. Hyundai plans to build a driving center in Korea and expand it to Europe and the US.
