Today we got a new set of spy pictures of Hyundai Grandeur facelift which were spied inside a parking lot in South Korea under a lot of camouflage.

Looking at the pictures, this Grandeur showed a high level of camouflage, with stickers and sailcloth specially on the front and we can imagine that could be a facelifted model, with the inclusion of latest iteraction of Hyundai’s hexagonal grille and latest tech & safety systems.

Apparently this Grandeur has the same proportions despite of the camouflage, so if you compare with the current model which is still on sale in South Korea, we can say we are in front of a facelift model (instead of a full change model).

The latest generation of the Grandeur, codenamed as IG, was unveiled on October 2016, so we can expect a facelift to come during summer (nowadays the car industry is chasing the technology industry in terms of launching renewed products every day faster).

Engine line-up will be updated as well, with the all new 2.5-liter Theta 3 engine replacing the old and recalled 2.4 Theta 2 as we have seen on the recently launched 8th gen Sonata. Probably will resume the hybrid variant which were available on the former HG model, but not yet on the current generation IG.

Inside, the only thing we can see its about the gear selector, where we can found a “Shift by wire” controls like we have recently seen on the Palisade and also inside on the next-gen Sonata.

What do you expect about this facelift?
