After Kia Motors Worldwide released a picture of K5 GT-Line on their SNS, we just received a set of pictures of what the dealers in North America will be offering the all new K5, that includes K5 GT-Line with AWD and K5 GT 2.5 Turbo.

When we initially told you about the new name the Kia Optima will change to, it was a surprise we all received and for the most part it went well.
Later we received information about the engines the new K5 should be coming to the USA, these were the 1.6t engine with an output of 180 Horsepower with the 8-speed DCT as well as the 2.5T engine with an output of 290 horsepower with the 8-speed DCT. These were some exciting news.
We now can confirm the 1.6T engine with AWD will now be know as the GT-Line. We recently saw Kia Motors Worldwide post a picture of the K5 with this badge. The GT-Line its not the only trim to receive the AWD option, we can spot the LXS trim will offer the AWD option

This could only mean one thing, soon the new K5 will be unveil for the North America Market.
We have released lots of details about the K5 from name, engines and now colors but we are still eager for its presentation and getting to know more about the K5.
