Kia continues working on the mid-cycle facelift for the Seltos. The current generation Seltos was launched on July 2019. The compact SUV (codenamed as SP2) had a good level of sales with 48,000 units during 2021 in the US-market. Now, our colleagues form AutoPost sent new pictures.
What we know so far?
We recently have seen the very first pictures of Kia SOUL facelift, also courtesy of our colleagues at AutoPost. As these are the very first spy pictures of the Seltos facelift, we cannot say to much about what changes will have (apparently looks same).
According to the information we could access, the refreshed Seltos will kill the diesel variant (available in some markets as South Korea, Australia or India) in place of a new hybrid variant. This powertrain will be the same used in the Niro.
It is pretty difficult to see what’s under the heavy camouflage, but the changes won’t be more than front and rear redesigned bumpers (again, we can see the same look so this should be an early prototype), the grille which also looks like having a different design. Headlights and taillights will also change its graphics.
The Seltos should receive latest safety pack, as well as new IT system, maybe from 10,25″ to a larger screen and a full digital cluster (like the one in the All-New K3/Forte).
