While Hyundai keeps working ahead the world premiere of its 5th generation Santa Fe on August 10th, we continue discovering curious solutions on the updated SUV, like this hidden window we found in the several prototypes made to get in fresh air for third row passengers.

The new Santa Fe is a completely changed (full-change) model that has been introduced five years since its fourth-generation launch in 2018, attracting attention with a completely different design from the existing Santa Fe. It is said that Hyundai has worked hard to develop Santa Fe, which has been established as an urban family SUV, to expand it into a car suitable for outdoor activities.

Hyundai’s new SUV feature a sleek and modern design with bold lines and a prominent front grille. It will offers a spacious and comfortable interior with seating for up to seven passengers, depending on the configuration, it will be available also in a 6-seat luxury variant, like the KIA Sorento.

The new generation of Hyundai’s popular SUV will carry over its current engine line-up, including gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. Powertrain options seems to carry over the current generation with a possible better hybrid variants with improved fuel efficiency, thanks to a higher density batteries. The exact engine choices may vary depending on the specific model and region.

Hyundai will equips the next-gen SUV with a variety of advanced features and technology. This includes infotainment systems with 12-inch displays, smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), safety features like blind-spot view monitor and lane-keeping assist, and available upgrades such as panoramic sunroof, premium audio systems, and more.

It is expected that the next-gen Hyundai’s mid-sized SUV offers a comfortable and an upgraded smooth ride, with increase interior space and leg room. Hyundai will start selling the new Santa Fe in mid-August in South Korea.
