Built for City Streets and Weekend Escapes

The 2026 Kia K4 Hatchback is designed with active lifestyles in mind. Whether you’re navigating tight urban streets, loading up gear for weekend adventures, or traveling with pets, this compact hatch delivers with flexibility and confidence. Its shorter overall length compared to the K4 sedan increases maneuverability, making it an ideal companion for urban driving and compact parking spaces.

“With the overwhelmingly positive response to the hatchback teaser last year, we knew we struck a chord,” said Steven Center, COO & EVP, Kia America. “This isn’t just a new look — it’s a bold attitude. The K4 Hatchback offers turbo power, a sport-tuned suspension, and city-ready agility that excites.”

Sporty and Sophisticated: A Hatchback with Style

Building on the bold stance of the K4 sedan, the hatchback introduces a floating roofline, a fluid, athletic profile, and a rear hatch seamlessly integrated into the design. It’s also available in the eye-catching Sparkling Yellow exterior, exclusive to this model.

Despite being 11 inches shorter than the sedan (10.6 inches in the GT-Line trim), the K4 Hatchback retains the sedan’s class-leading rear legroom and adds an extra inch of rear headroom. With up to 59.3 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, it leads the class in utility without compromising comfort.

Key exterior features include:

  • Vertical LED headlights and taillights inspired by the award-winning EV9
  • Hidden rear door handles integrated into the C-pillar
  • 17-inch alloy wheels standard, upgraded to 18-inch wheels on GT-Line trims
  • Sporty accents on GT-Line models including gloss black trim and aggressive styling elements
