Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled the refreshed Hyundai IONIQ 6, a partially updated model arriving three years after its original debut in September 2022. The updated electric sedan brings enhanced battery technology, improved driving range, new comfort features, and a sportier N Line variant—all aimed at strengthening Hyundai’s dominance in the EV market.
Record-Breaking Driving Range: Up to 562 km
The IONIQ 6 Long Range 2WD now boasts Korea’s longest single-charge driving range of 562 km (349 miles), thanks to its 84 kWh 4th-generation battery and class-leading 0.21 drag coefficient.
- The Standard Range model is powered by a 63 kWh battery, delivering 437 km (271 miles) of range—70 km (43 miles) more than the previous version.
- Both models support 350 kW ultra-fast charging, capable of recharging from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
These numbers place the IONIQ 6 at the forefront of efficient electric sedans, competing directly with Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2.
