Recent spy shots, thanks to our colleagues at Healer TV, could show the planned interior overhaul for the upcoming Hyundai Grandeur facelift, with the most striking feature being a large, vertically oriented central touchscreen, drawing immediate comparisons to the infotainment systems found in Tesla vehicles.

Hyundai Grandeur Facelift: Big Expectations

The updated flagship sedan from Hyundai, also known as the Azera in some markets, has been caught testing on public roads, and images of its cabin suggest a major departure from the current model’s dashboard design. The new centerpiece is a prominent, tablet-style display that appears to integrate most of the vehicle’s controls, a move that would align with the industry trend of minimizing physical buttons.

This new infotainment system is reportedly dubbed “PLEOS.” While official specifications are yet to be released, the spy photos indicate a screen size that could surpass the 12.3-inch displays currently used in many Hyundai models. This shift points to a more technologically advanced and minimalist interior aesthetic for the refreshed Grandeur.

Refined Styling: Exterior Design Updates

Beyond the headline-grabbing screen, other anticipated changes for the facelifted Grandeur include revised front and rear exterior styling, likely incorporating Hyundai’s latest design language. Powertrain options are expected to be carried over from the current model, which includes a range of gasoline engines and a hybrid variant.

Release date and Specifications

There has been no official confirmation from Hyundai regarding the specifications or the release date of the new Grandeur. However, industry observers speculate that the facelifted model could be unveiled in the second half of 2026. The introduction of such a large and advanced infotainment system in its flagship sedan underscores Hyundai’s commitment to competing on technology and in-car experience in the premium segment.
