The 2026 Genesis Invitational returns to the historic Riviera Country Club, marking a monumental intersection of sporting history and corporate partnership. This year, the tournament celebrates two major milestones: the 100th anniversary of championship golf in Los Angeles and the 10th consecutive year of Genesis as the title partner.
Hosted by Tiger Woods in collaboration with TGR Live and the PGA TOUR, the event continues its prestigious status as a PGA TOUR Signature Event, promising an elite field and an unparalleled fan experience.
A Decade of Partnership and a Multi-Year Future
Since 2016, Genesis, the PGA TOUR, and TGR Live have redefined the standard for title sponsorships. This year’s “homecoming” is bolstered by the announcement that Genesis has committed to remain the title partner through 2030. The relationship has expanded significantly over the last decade, with Genesis now serving as the:
- First global Official Vehicle of the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions.
- Official Mobility Partner of the PGA TOUR.
“This year marks two milestones that are especially meaningful,” said José Muñoz, president and CEO of Genesis. “But what makes this homecoming truly special is the resilience of this community. Genesis will welcome players, caddies, and fans as honored guests just as we have from the beginning.”
A World-Class Field: Scheffler, McIlroy, and More
The 2026 leaderboard reads like a “who’s who” of professional golf. With 18 of the top 20 golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) competing, the stakes have never been higher.

Featured Players:
| Player | Highlights |
| Scottie Scheffler | World No. 1 & 3-time reigning PGA TOUR Player of the Year |

California Rises: Rebuilding Together
In the wake of the devastating 2025 Southern California wildfires, the tournament has pivoted to become a beacon of recovery. Through the California Rises initiative, Genesis, TGR Live, and the PGA TOUR have already contributed over $8 million in vehicle and financial aid.
In 2026, Genesis is pledging an additional $1 million toward long-term recovery, benefiting:
- The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation
- Genesis Inspiration Foundation
- Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles
Birdies for Good
Fans can cheer for a cause with the Birdies for Good initiative. On holes 10, 14, 16, 17, and 18:
- Birdie or Eagle: $1,000 donation to California Rises.
- Hole-in-One (Holes 14 & 16): $25,000 donation.
The Signature Event Experience
As a Signature Event, The Genesis Invitational offers more than just world-class golf; it provides an immersive luxury experience for every guest.
Fan Highlights:
- Art & Culture: Live murals by Jonas Never honoring the California coast and recovery efforts.

Distinctly Korean Hospitality: “Son-nim”
At the heart of the tournament is the Korean principle of “Son-nim”—treating every visitor as an honored guest. This elevated hospitality extends to everyone on the course:
- For Players & Caddies: A dedicated lounge featuring recovery tools, professional barber services, and a fleet of Genesis courtesy vehicles.
- The 14th Lounge: A fan favorite featuring the Genesis Photo Drive, where professional photographers capture your best moments and send them directly to your phone.
- Amenities: Enjoy a complimentary coffee bar and Korean-inspired snacks, with a dedicated shuttle service running from the main entrance.
The 2026 Genesis Invitational is more than a tournament; it is a celebration of a century of golf, a decade of partnership, and a future built on community resilience.
