This year’s Los Angeles Auto Show was the best one yet. From flashy reveals of new and significant models to new high-tech pavilions from nearly every major manufacturer in four massive halls, the auto show was a crowd-pleaser. Inside the convention center, the sheer variety of new models that exist in today’s market was on display, while outside, various free driving experiences allowed consumers to get behind the wheel, both on and off the road. It’s hard to find any faults with the Sorento, but I also didn’t feel anything driving it. The current body style of the Kia Sorento went on sale back in 2015, and the refreshed 2019 Sorento is all about the details, which gives it a more luxurious look inside and outside, and better driving manners to boot. Kia will be starting the 2019 model year off with a bang with a new special edition of the Kia Stinger available as early as summer 2018.
The US-market Genesis G70 will be debuting at next week’s 2018 Detroit Auto Show (a.k.a. the North American International Auto Show). Not only does it need to impress at least as much as the Kia Stinger has, but it needs to be a sales success as well, and that won’t be easy. (more…)
