Following the excitement of the Hyundai x Pokémon collaboration, the automaker has officially announced a massive expansion of its ccNC (connected Car Navigation Cockpit) display themes. While the exclusive Pokémon themes were initially launched for flagship models like the IONIQ 9 and the All-New Palisade, a new Over-the-Air (OTA) update schedule ensures that millions of more Hyundai owners can soon customize their cabins with their favorite characters, for now, only in Korea.

The Pokémon Experience: Pikachu and Ditto Join the Drive

Hyundai’s partnership with Pokémon Korea introduces two standout themes:

  1. Pokémon Pikachu Quick Attack Theme: Dynamic yellow accents and lightning-fast animations.
  2. Pokémon Ditto World Theme: A playful, purple-hued aesthetic featuring the fan-favorite transformational Pokémon.

These aren’t just static wallpapers. The ccNC integration includes custom colors, unique cluster graphics, specialized navigation layouts, and unique start-up/shut-down animations that turn the vehicle into an emotional space for families and fans alike.

Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) and Personalization

This expansion is a core part of Hyundai’s shift toward the “Software-Defined Vehicle” era. By allowing users to download “digital goods,” Hyundai is moving beyond hardware, providing a continuously evolving interior environment. Whether it’s through nostalgic Pokémon animations or modern minimalist aesthetics, your Hyundai is becoming a canvas for personal expression.
