On June 11, Hyundai Motor Company officially launched The New XCIENT, a next-generation heavy-duty truck that marks a significant leap forward in product competitiveness. With a completely revamped design and cutting-edge safety and convenience features, The New XCIENT stands as Hyundai’s most advanced commercial vehicle to date.
A New Era for Hyundai’s Heavy-Duty Trucks
Released six years after the XCIENT Pro debuted in 2019, The New XCIENT embodies a significant upgrade in both aesthetics and technology. Hyundai has elevated the truck’s presence with a majestic V-shaped radiator grille featuring cube-shaped mesh graphics and vertical chrome garnish, offering a bold and futuristic look that appeals to modern logistics operators.
Adding to its sophisticated exterior, The New XCIENT incorporates block-shaped full LED headlamps, a newly designed Hyundai emblem made from sleek, flat aluminum, and a modern roof visor—all contributing to a more streamlined and contemporary silhouette.
Enhanced Aerodynamics and Visibility
Aerodynamic performance sees a major improvement with digital side mirrors, which not only reduce drag but also provide excellent visibility in low-light or rainy conditions. These sleek mirror systems reflect Hyundai’s commitment to integrating functional design with cutting-edge driving assistance technologies.
Futuristic Cabin with Unified Infotainment
Inside, The New XCIENT boasts a 12.3-inch digital cluster and an advanced ccNC infotainment system, offering drivers seamless access to vehicle information and multimedia content. The bezel-colored center console, luxury trim garnish, pop-up cup holders, and tablet or smartphone storage nets significantly enhance cabin comfort and usability.

Advanced Safety Features for Long-Haul Comfort
Understanding the needs of long-distance drivers, Hyundai has equipped The New XCIENT with an array of next-generation safety features, including:
- Forward Collision Avoidance Assist (detects pedestrians and cyclists)
- Front/Rear Side Near-Distance Collision Warning
- Rear Side Collision Warning
- Intelligent Headlamps
Drivers can also rely on Smart Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go, Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control, Highway Driving Assist, and Auto Hold (note: not available on manual transmission models). These features ensure both convenience and safety on long hauls.
Standard Driver Assistance Technologies
To further elevate product competitiveness, Lane Keeping Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, and an Electric Parking Brake are standard across all models, ensuring a safer and more stress-free driving experience.
Improved Ride Quality and Smart Convenience
Hyundai has fine-tuned ride quality with enhanced shock absorbers and a steering force adjustment function, enabling drivers to select between light and comfortable or firm and stable steering depending on their driving preferences.
Additional tech-forward features include:
- Hi-pass Integrated Digital Tachograph
- Wireless Smartphone Charging (upgraded from 5W to 10W)
- Safety Power Windows
- Wireless Infotainment Software Updates
