Kia has officially announced the opening of the Kia Siheung Flagship Store, a massive one-stop complex designed to redefine the customer journey. Located at 20 Siheung-daero 51-gil, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, this new landmark offers everything from vehicle viewing and test drives to purchasing, maintenance, and immersive brand experiences.

A Historic Site Reborn for the Future

The Siheung site holds deep significance for Kia. Originally established in May 1957 as Kia’s third production facility, the Siheung plant was the birthplace of the brand’s evolution—producing everything from bicycles and motorcycles to three-wheeled vehicles and trucks.

After serving as a service center since 1977, the site underwent a two-year transformation to become Kia’s sixth flagship store in Korea, joining locations in Gangseo, Incheon, Bucheon, Gwangju, and Wonju.

Key Specifications of the Siheung Flagship Store:

  • Total Area: 21,500.98 m² (approx. 6,504 pyeong)
  • Structure: 5 floors above ground, 2 floors underground
  • Core Concept: One-stop mobility solution and premium brand experience

Immersive Tech and Brand Content

The store features cutting-edge digital tools to help customers customize their dream vehicles:

  • 3D Configurator: Utilizing a massive media wall, customers can virtually build their vehicles, viewing 3D renderings of interior/exterior colors and even simulating the operation of doors, trunks, and turn signals.
  • Multi-Contents Board: Located next to physical display vehicles, these boards provide instant access to specs, simulators, and Kia’s YouTube content.
  • Color Collection: Real-world material samples for popular models like the EV9, K9, K8, and Carnival, allowing customers to feel the textures and see the true paint colors before buying.

Enhanced Customer Service & EV Infrastructure

Kia has prioritized personalized consulting and specialized maintenance to meet the demands of modern drivers.

1. Personalized Consulting & Pickup Lounge

The store features diverse, open-concept consulting areas tailored to different customer preferences. A dedicated Kia Pickup Lounge has been established to make the vehicle delivery process special. Here, customers receive their new cars after a final quality inspection and get hands-on tutorials for vehicle features and Kia smartphone apps.

2. Specialized EV Maintenance

To support the growing electric vehicle market, the Siheung Flagship Store is equipped with advanced EV-specific infrastructure, including:

  • Insulated EV workbenches for safety.
  • Specialized high-voltage battery workstations.
  • Dedicated storage facilities for used batteries.
