Releases of the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage were hand in hand, only a few months after each other, like the latest generation, while the current Tucson were revealed in March 2015, and Sportage in September 2015. As we have advanced, Kia Motors Europe is on its way to accomplish the 2020 Hyundai-Kia Eco Car plan schedule of electrified models with the addition of a new Ceed estate plug-in hybrid model, and today thanks to CarPix we have the proof that Kia is already testing it.

Kia Motors is already planning a fuel-cell model as a sister-vehicle to Hyundai’s £60k Nexo, which will be available in California before the end of this year. The Sorento SUV, whose higher price can justify the cost of the fuel cell power pack, is highly likely to be the beneficiary of a hydrogen-powered option. (more…)
Kia Motors unveiled its new strategic SUV ‘The New KX5’ at the 2018 Guangzhou Motor Show. The KX5 is the Sportage facelift that we already seen in Europe (will debut at LA for the US-market) and has suffered a “plastic surgery” on the front end in order to adapt to chinese tastes. (more…)
