Kia Motors announced on October 18 that it launched a compact new Kia Sportage 1.7-liter CRDi diesel model. The New Sportage 1.7 is an engine-downsized model of the 4th generation Sportage released last month.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]The cutting-edge Kia Sportage model features a maximum output of 141 horsepower and a maximum torque of 34.7 kg.m.
It is mounted with a new DCT transmission, with its compound fuel efficiency estimated at 15.9 kilometers per liter (44,9 UK MPG) – (35,3 US MPG).
With an additional charge of 740,000 won when buying a new Kia Sportage 1.7, interior and exterior design specs can be added. Among the options are 18-inch alloy wheels, LED rear combo lamps, LED fog lamps, and paddle shifts for the standard 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).
Exterior colors come also in two new types including Urban Blue and Active Orange combined with a different interior. Retail prices for the new Kia Sportage range starting from 22.53 million won (US$19,800) to 24.49 million won (US$21,500). “We released a 1.7-liter diesel engine model following the 2.0-liter diesel engine model as part of an effort to offer a wider option to customers.” a Kia Motors official said.
