Yes! Tomorrow at 11:00 AM Pacific Time or 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Kia Motors America will made a digital unboxing of the all-new K5 for the North American market. After we released some spy shots of the vehicle testing near KMA HQ in Irvine, California, and shared some pics of the range of trims, including K5 GT-Line with AWD or K5 GT with the 2.5 Turbo, Kia will lift the veil on June 30th.

What we know so far?
When we initially told you about the new name the Kia Optima will change to, it was a surprise we all received and for the most part it went well. Later we received information about the engines the new K5 should be coming to the USA, these were the 1.6t engine with an output of 180 Horsepower with the 8-speed DCT as well as the 2.5T engine with an output of 290 horsepower with the 8-speed DCT. These were some exciting news.
We now can confirm the 1.6T engine with AWD will now be know as the GT-Line. We recently saw Kia Motors Worldwide post a picture of the K5 with this badge. The GT-Line its not the only trim to receive the AWD option, we can spot the LXS trim will offer the AWD option
