Today we want to share with you new pictures of the 7th gen Grandeur P1 prototype, courtesy of AutoPost, and today we want to share new details of the next Hyundai flagship. It will be released in November and will be first ever Grandeur model to have All-Wheel Drive.
What we know so far?
According to staff source, Hyundai plans to apply a design inspiration from the first-generation Grandeur to the seventh-generation Grandeur. Hyundai’s next-gen flagship design will drink from first-generation Grandeur DNA combining retro and futuristic design but it will also have latest tech available at HMG.
The informant said buttons will disappear in the new interior, now will be have touchscreens all over. The length of the car will grow to 5015mm from 4930mm. Inside, the rear seats could be reclined while the gear selector will be the same as IONIQ, so steering mounted.
The front design is very close to Staria/Telluride, (that means will have vertical headlights) while the rear design is similar to Lucid Air, and similar to the rendering above.

A key feature of the All-New Grandeur will be the Magic Roof, like Mercedes Benz, instead of a regular curtain, will be capable of blocking light and heat or become transparent depending on drivers choose. Hyundai will focus to convert its famous sedan in a flagship with the addition of rear electric and ventilated seats.
Talking about powertrain, it is expected to carry over the same engine line-up as K8 with which shares platform. The K8 is availble with a choice of 4 gasoline engines. A 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter GDi engines, a 3.5-liter LPG and a 1.6 Turbo Hybrid. It will also have all-wheel drive option.
But compared to the K8, the Grandeur will have an all-electric and in addition to the existing five-seater interior configuration, it will also have a four-seater luxury variant with independent rear seats. Next-gen Hyundai luxury sedan is expected to go on sale during third quarter of 2023.
