Hyundai Kia Motors announced on July 8 that their five models, including K900, Cadenza and Sonata which they released in the U.S. market, swept the top spots in a consumer satisfaction survey conducted by an auto consulting firm Auto Pacific.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Kia Motors’ K9 which is called the K900 in the U.S., ranked No. 1 in the high-end vehicle category, while Kia Motors’ K7 (local name Cadenza) topped in the large sedan category.
Hyundai Motor’s Sonata came on top in the mid-sized sedan category, while Kia Motors’ Soul and Sportage each was positioned at No. 1 in the categories of compact car and crossover SUV.
In particular, the K9 won the President Award by achieving a record-high score of 809 in the high-end sedan category, higher than the previous record of 794 set by Mercedes-Benz in 2014.
Auto Pacific’s consumer satisfaction survey which marked the 19th anniversary this year was conducted with 66,000 consumers who purchased vehicles during the period from September to December 2014.
