With the launch of a new generation Hyundai EV powertrain, the South Korean carmaker plans to launch an all-electric vehicle capable to be used for longer distances. Hyundai Motor Group showcased its new EV powetrain in South Korea last week.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Thanks to our korean friend TNKfree, who visited Interbattery 2015, an event that was held in Seoul, all the info we got is this new Electric Vehicle and Battery was developed with LG Chem.
LG Chem’s Li-ion Battery capacity will be between 25-30kWh, and will be separated into two compartments, probably with the idea to don’t lose to much in terms of interior space and trunk.
Our friend TNKfree also added that according to Hyundai members at the event, this new generation EV system will be released next year in a Hyundai EV car. As you probably know, Hyundai Motor Group has two EV’s into its sister brand Kia, the Ray EV and the Soul EV which are receiving several awards and great reviews from owners and media.
