Kia has revealed today in South Korea the K3 GT, a 5-door hatchback that has a fastback design rear end. [ads id=”9″]
The K3 GT will use for the first time on a Kia GT compact the combination of the 1.6 T-GDi engine and the in-house 7-DCT automatic transmission (the next model to use it is the Proceed GT).
The K3 GT will be available with four-door and five-door models. The front end has a dark chromed radiator grille with the addition of red points and the GT emblem on one side of the grille.
Exterior changes continues with a black painted high gloss exterior mirror cover, GT side seals molding and the 18-inch alloy wheels with red details.

The bigger differences come from the rear end, which has a coupe-style design combined with Black High Gloss rear spoiler and rear diffuser, and emphasizes the sporty feel with a dual muffler.
In terms of driving performance, the K3 GT is equipped with a 1.6-turbo GDI engine and a 7-speed DCT, delivering a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 27.0 kgf · m.
Kia Motors hopes to strengthen its position in the domestic compact & sedan market by expanding the choices for customers with this two new variants.
