The price of both, the updated Genesis GV80 and GV80 Coupe were revealed ahead of tomorrow’s official launch. The GV80 Coupe will cost start at 82.55 million won ($61,400) which compared to the regular GV80, it will cost almost $10,000 extra.
The price is with the basic engine, a 2.5 Turbo with 304 hp. If you want to go for the 3.5-liter Twin Turbo, the price will reach to 86.75 million won ($64,500), and if you want to go further and take the 415 hp electric supercharger model, the price to pay is 91.9 million ($68,300).
The Genesis GV80 facelift starts at 69.3 million won ($51,500) with the 2.5 turbo, which results in a price increase of 3.8 million won ($2,800). As we have said before, the price difference between the regular GV80 and the Coupe is 13.25 million won ($9,800). Compared to the GV80, the GV80 Coupe adds a coupe-specific Active Sound Design, suspension tuning, electronic limited slip differential (e-LSD) 20-inch wheels or AWD are standard.
Looking at the detailed specifications of the GV80 Coupe, 27-inch OLED display, the new MLA headlamps system, touch-type air conditioning panel, ambient mood lamp, wireless smartphone charging, and lane keeping assist 2 are standard. Head-up display, panoramic sunroof, Ergo motion seat, HDA2, second-row electric seat, B&W audio, etc. are options.
For options and packages, Genesis offers a rich optional equipment that can be added to both model. In the case of the GV80 Coupe full options include Popular Package, Panoramic Sunroof, Convenience Package, B&W Sound, Built-in Cam, 22-inch wheels, and Coupe Design Selection Pack. When adding all the packages, the 2.5 turbo costs 98.35 million won ($73,100), the 3.5 turbo costs 102.55 million won ($76,200), and the 3.5 turbo 48V supercharger costs 107.7 million won ($80,100).
For the GV80 facelift, Preview electronically controlled suspension, silver-painted 4P brakes, MLA headlamps, 27-inch OLED cluster, touch-type air conditioning panel, and 19-inch wheels are standard. Adding all the packs and options such as Design Selection Pack, AWD, Panoramic Sunroof and 22-inch wheels to the 2.5T elevates the price to 79.7 million won ($59,200), only $2,000 behind the Coupe.
