Hyundai Motor Company has officially launched the 2027 IONIQ 9, the latest annual update to its flagship all-electric large SUV. Starting sales on Thursday, March 5, 2026, the new model brings enhanced luxury, improved standard features, and a bold new aesthetic package “Black Ink” designed to dominate the premium EV market.

The 2027 IONIQ 9 focuses on delivering high-demand convenience features as standard, significantly boosting its competitive edge. Hyundai has upgraded each trim level based on customer preference:
- Exclusive (Base Trim): Now includes 2nd-row ventilated seats and 2nd-row swiveling seats as standard.
- Prestige (Mainstream Trim): Adds water-repellent front glass and expands luxury touches like metal pedalsand metal door scuffs.
- Calligraphy (Top Trim): Now features 3rd-row heated seats for ultimate passenger comfort.
The New “Black Ink” Model: Bold and Sophisticated
The standout addition for 2027 is the Calligraphy-exclusive “Black Ink” Package. This design-centric edition is crafted for drivers who want a sophisticated, monochromatic look that emphasizes the IONIQ 9’s commanding presence.
