Hyundai launched its first plug-in hybrid vehicle today at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The 2016 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is expected to travel up to 22 miles (35km) on electric power and can recharge in as little as two and a half hours with a Level 2 charger. After we published the first time ever spy pictures of the Hyundai Sonata PHEV a few ago, latest reports from South Korean confirmed that the model will be revealed at the Hyundai Press Conference held at 2015 Detroit AutoShow in January 12th.
