Today we want to share with you the first spy pictures of the next-generation Hyundai’s flagship luxury sedan, the 2016 Equus. Spotted for the first time in production form in South Korea, the car could be revealed as a concept car at the nearly 2015 Detroit International AutoShow held in January, 12.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]After we spotted a test mule car in Colorodo, testing with the BMW 7 Series and Kia K900 as well, this test mule prototype showed something unusual, a C-pillar with a large piece of sheetmetal riveted behind the rear doors to stretch the body, plus a longer wheelbase.

The latest generation Genesis sedan was always spotted testing with BMW 5 Series. So we expected that this car is the next-gen Equus. Now we have the first spy pictures on production format.

The new generation Hyundai Equus will debut as a 2016 or 2017 model year and will include V8 engines and All-Wheel Drive for the first time. The current Hyundai Equus was launched at the 2010 New York AutoShow. Stay tuned for more info soon!
