A G70 Magma in the works? A few days ago we shared how Genesis European and Worldwide Instagram accounts shared the a teaser image that could be a G70 Magma Concept to be showcased at Goodwood. Now our colleagues at Allcarnews created a rendering that shows how the hot sedan could look, what do you think?

A Genesis concept will make its dynamic global debut on the famous Goodwood hillclimb, along with a vehicle that will be seen in action for the first time in the UK. The third debut will be a first-time European display at the festival. So what it will be?

Jonny Miller, Brand Director at Genesis Motor UK, said, “We are thrilled to be continuing our official partnership with Goodwood Festival of Speed. This year, Genesis is bringing an even stronger presence to the Festival of Speed to connect further with our customers. 2024 is a busy year for the brand, and there will be plenty of surprises in store for Goodwood visitors.”

Back in April, on behalf of New York AutoShow, Genesis showcased its Magma program for the first time marking the brand’s expansion into the realm of high-performance vehicles. Genesis ultimately aims to develop a high-performance Magma model for each production vehicle in the existing lineup, maximizing both aesthetics and performance. Revealed for the first time at NY AutoShow, the GV60 Magma Concept will be among the Genesis Magma program models headed for production.

Recently, the first mule for the production version of the GV60 Magma was spotted driving around near the Nürburgring thanks to our colleagues at SH Proshots. This development brings Genesis one step closer to launching a vehicle that promises to blend performance with luxury.

So after we also have seen the GV70 receiving the treatment of the Magma program, with forged wheels or active spoiler now Genesis shared this and made us think what’s next for the iconic G70 sport-sedan.
