Yesterday I was reading a new report from Autovisie that says Kia is bulding an updated version of its Kia GT Sportsedan concept car, ready to be revealed at any closer AutoShow. After that, and after a lot of rumours, I decided to ask Kia’s Overseas PR Team General Manager, Michael Choo, about this.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]While the original concept was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the new concept is rumored to be virtually production ready. According to the source, the car also have passed safety crash test and also talked about that on the road to production, the concept car lose the rear-hinged doors and carbon fiber wheels from the original.
I was speaking with Michael Choo and he was straight to the point: “This is still speculation as we have not yet confirmed production of a Kia GT sportsedan.” At the same time, he added “I can tell you for sure that no such vehicle will be unveiled at any AutoShow this year or early next year as stated in the article.”
So, we still need to wait a little more to see Kia’s luxury GT Sportsedan in the years to come… 🙁
