Today we have a new photoset of Kia Stinger GT facelift prototype taken in South Korea together with new information emerged, like the confirmation of the final replacement of the 3.3-liter over the 3.5-liter engine according to South Korean media AutoDaum. Continue reading after the jump.

Kia Motors’ first variable exhaust system is applied to the Kia Stinger GT facelift. It is a device that can adjust the exhaust sound generated from outside the actual vehicle beyond the current Stinger electronic sound generator. It is the first time that a variable exhaust system is applied to a factory-spec domestic car except for the N brand. The Genesis G70 facelift will have it too.
As we can see this appears to be an early prototype still having the head lights & taillights from the current version. The new head lights have a different light graphic. It is probable that they begin testing the first features of the Sedan after updating some parts, I’m sure we’ll see soon inside the Green Hell with the mentioned changes.
Indoors, the infotainment monitor will grow from 8 inches to 10.25 inches. The interior layout will retain the shape of the current model, and the upper trim includes quality nappa leather seats, as well as advanced materials and colors. The dashboard and door trim are covered with leather covering and stitching.

The instrument panel is replaced with a digital type 12.3 inch cluster from the existing analog. Changes in exterior design focus on enhancing detail. The graphic inside the headlamp and the front and rear bumper design are changed, and a new design wheels will be introduced. The rear lamp is a horizontal bar connected to the left and right, and has sequential direction indicators.
There will also be some changes to the engines as we have heard, there has been a long discussion about this, so we got to answer some of our sources after now the 2.5-liter is confirmed to replace the existing 2.0 liter, and although initially it would not make sense to change the 2.0 and no the 3.3, after questioned it, we have got a confirmation that Kia were testing both engines, the 3.3 and 3.5-liter engines on Stinger prototypes, but no the final confirmation that will be switched. In the mean time this media website AutoDaum confirms that the 3.5 is finally included.
