Today we want to show you the latest details of the mid-cycle facelift Hyundai Palisade SUV thanks to our colleagues at CarBuzz who managed to get this technical sheet that talks about Palisade updated for the 2023MY. Reveal is set for June.
What we know so far?
The Palisade (codenamed as OL) is already available with two V6 gasoline engines, 3.5 and 3.8 MPi with 277 and 295 hp. It is also available with a diesel engine, the 2.2 R-Engine with 200 ps. When Hyundai launched the Palisade couldn’t be so sure that it will turn in a total success.
As there any spy pictures of the Palisade facelift until now, we cannot say to much about what changes will have, if will have the same treatment as Santa Fe or Grandeur or instead that will receive a slight facelift. Hyundai could take advantage of this facelift and include a Hybrid/Plug-in Hybrid variant like they did with the Santa Fe.

It is pretty difficult to imagine the design direction of the Palisade facelift will drink of, but recently Hyundai surprised us with big changes on their facelifted models. We will wait for the first spy pictures and check what changes we can expect.
Of course, the Hyundai Palisade facelift should receive latest safety pack, as well as new IT system and latest technologies we already have seen in models like GV80 or Grandeur. The powertrain won’t be enriched by the addition of the 2.5 Turbo, that delivering almost the same power as of the 3.8 N/A and performs better fuel economy and more punch, instead, will carry over with the same engine.
Hyundai launched the Palisade Calligraphy trim in South Korea or United States with several updates and a higher quality interior, in order to get an upscale interior and exterior and compete against premium brands.
