이번에는 중국에서 포착된 벨로스터는 앞모습 전체가 위장막으로 가려져 있다. 현대는 2+1 도어 스포츠 컴팩트카 벨로스터에 가벼운 페이스리프트를 준비 중이다. 차세대 모델 개발을 기다리거나 결국 단종될 것이라는 소문이 무성한 가운데, 2~3년 더 신선함을 유지하기 위한 조치로 보인다.
2007년 공개된 HND-3 콘셉트를 기반으로, 현대는 2011년에 벨로스터를 양산 모델로 출시하기로 결정했다. 가솔린 직분사(GDi) 엔진 두 가지(터보 포함)가 선택 가능하며, 각각 140마력과 201마력(유럽 시장은 187마력)을 발휘한다.
이 사진들에서는 큰 변화를 찾아보기 어렵고, 새로운 디자인의 알로이 휠만 눈에 띈다. 벨로스터는 위장막이 잘 씌워져 있지만, 최신 현대 디자인에 가까운 새로운 프론트 그릴을 엿볼 수 있다. 리어 범퍼는 현재 벨로스터 터보와 유사하다. 벨로스터는 앞뒤 범퍼와 실내에 약간의 손질이 더해질 것으로 예상된다. 계속 지켜봐 주시기 바란다!

댓글 2개I think the biggest drawback for the Veloster was it's lack of a second rear door. The hidden door concept was neat for a little when it was introduced, but it grew stale fast. As it is, the styling is polarizing the door only adds to it.Hyundai should have at least made a 5 door variant.

Upgrade the engine to a 2.0 Liter, made the rear suspension independent and made it a 4 wheel drive. Unfortunately, making these changes would also add at least 4-5 thousand dollars to the price tag and bring it out of the price range for about 60% of it's current customers. BTW, the third door is one of the reasons Veloster owners love this car. The notion that it polarizes people is pretty silly.
