As we have advanced yesterday, the delay on the launch of the high-performance Sonata N-Line was caused by the adjustment of Hyundai’s product launch schedule, with Santa Fe & Tucson overtaking the Sonata sport variant. Now and thanks to AutoPost we have the debut date for the Santa Fe facelift, which is now set for reveal on June 8th.
After we published a picture of a Hyundai Tucson inside a small garage either during some maintenance or gathering back the information from its test drive at unkown Hyundai dealer (we can see a Grandeur HG on the left). Today we have caught the Tucson towing an equipment related to emission certification that could will the answer of that unmounted Tucson.
After been delayed several times (this reminds me the GV80 launch), Hyundai have rescheduled the release of the high-performance Sonata N-Line to “Summer”. Yeah, according to the latest information from AutoDaum, the cause of the delay is once again the Coronavirus outbreak, but also and adjustment of the launch schedule with Santa Fe and Tucson according to the magazine, finally looks like both SUVs will be premiered earlier than Sonata N-Line
As you maybe know if you follow us, the Hyundai Kona N is around the corner, and when it arrives, all the Kona family will receive as well a mid-cycle life facelift (we already spied this facelift and the new N-Line too). Hyundai’s Chinese Sonata (DN8) was released prior to launch in July. The Chinese-style Sonata, tested by the Chinese automobile media AutoHome.cn, has a extended length of 55mm and a wheelbase of 50mm longer compared to the regular Sonata, and new features like a different interior design and powertrain.
