Long ago, we were talking about that Kia Motors will add a “K8” to its flagship lineup of the K series, to feature a new vehicle that would be sportier and more casual in its appearance than the K9 (also called Quoris or K900 in overseas markets).
Kia Motors Corporation announced today its global sales figures (export sales, domestic sales and sales from overseas plants) for passenger cars, recreational vehicles (RVs) and commercial vehicles for April 2014, recording a total of 251,120 units sold. Kia Motors’ two SUV models—Sportage R and Mojave—served as a buttress for sustaining the company’s first-quarter performance. The two “old body” models, which were released four or six years ago, marked a robust year-to-year growth of 30 percent in the January-March period of this year. (more…)
This is one of my favorites Kia cars. I always loved lowered sedans with nice wheels so I had do an interview of this amazing Kia Cerato Forte. When I found Cesar’s Cerato I knew this one is the one. Kia Motors Co. has been trapped in a growth dilemma as its popular K sedan series has suffered a setback in sales due to weak brand power and a lack of new models. What is of greater concern is that the sales drop has been affected by the robust sales of the counterpart models from Hyundai. (more…)
