Today we saw a new set of spy pictures of the next-generation 2017 Hyundai Equus flagship saloon at Auto Tribune and we decided to share with you.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]The next-gen 2017 Equus will follow the design cues under Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. The car was spotted again in South Korean while the re-engineered flagship showed the rumored new sheet metal, with a new design line starting after the front wheel arch and that probably continues alongside the doors (see the picture below).
The 2017 Hyundai Equus will be designed by Peter Schreyer and will also features a redesigned instrument panel, center stack and rear LED tailights, plus latest safety such as Smart Cruise Control, Around View Monitor and infotainment systems, and tablets for passengers.
The new generation 2017 Hyundai Equus is scheduled to debut as a 2016 or 2017 model year and will include a V8 engine, and All-Wheel Drive for the first time through an 8-speed automatic, Hyundai is also working on a newer 10-speed automatic transmission, which may become available by the time the Equus arrives in the market.. The current Hyundai Equus was launched at the 2010 New York AutoShow.
The 2017 Hyundai Equus will ride on a stretched version of the Genesis Mk2’s platform featuring a new multi-link rear suspension that was fine-tuned with a little help from Lotus. Rumors also said will use a 3.3 V6 Twin Turbo engine, but is not confirmed.
